Running for a Change (For a Change Trust):

Running for a Change is an initiative of For A Change Trust, a Chennai based registered non-profit trust to promote running as a catalyst for change in lifestyle, health & fitness, and for social causes. There will be also camps organized for improving the fitness levels, yoga, cross training programs and lecture cum workshops organized by inviting eminent persons to deliver lecturers on various aspects of fitness, running and diet guidelines. As a part of its social responsibility, Running for a Change will be organizing several running events with some social cause attached to each event. 

Rajalingam Manickavasan - Founder & Managing Trustee - For A Change Trust

Rajalingam Manickavasan is a social transformer, author & TEDx speaker. He has been featured in leading national media with respect to his business, social activities & books.

A social transformer, he quit his business life to devote his entire time and effort to empower under-privileged girls through school education. To accomplish this, he founded  "For A Change Trust", an NGO supporting every under-privileged girl studying in 12th standard & help her in fulfilling her dream of completing school education.

He has also don the hat of a TEDx speaker. In recognition of his social works, he has been invited to internationally acclaimed TEDx events to speak about his life journey of becoming a social transformer.

He has authored three books namely (1) Sports Management - An Introduction, (2) Sports Event Management, and his latest book "Linkedin - the key to your dream job" has been featured in leading national media.

He has conceptualized and organized Chennai Pink Run, Chennai's first and exclusive women's marathon for breast cancer awareness. 

Before starting his social life, he was the Founder of two business ventures, 1. toss digiconsult, a digital marketing agency & 2. toss sportz eventz, a pioneer in sports events business in Chennai.

A national level tennis player, he loves playing tennis during his off time and You can find him in a tennis court when he is not working.
